About Nazurah
I am a dedicated and passionate Mathematics teacher with experience in both classroom teaching and private tutoring. During my practicum at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Changgang, I taught Mathematics to Year 1 and Year 5 students, gaining valuable skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and engaging young learners. In addition, my experience as a home tutor has strengthened my ability to personalize lessons according to each student’s needs and learning style. I believe every student has the potential to succeed in Mathematics, and my role is to guide them with patience, creativity, and encouragement. My goal is to build not only strong academic skills, but also confidence and a love for learning in every student I teach.

My tutoring approach is student-centered, focusing on simplifying complex Mathematical concepts through step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and engaging problem-solving activities. I use a combination of interactive exercises, visual aids, and personalised strategies to suit each learner’s pace and learning style. A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, ensuring enough time for explanation, practice, and feedback. I have three months of practicum experience teaching Mathematics to Year 1 and Year 5 students, as well as experience as a home tutor for primary pupils. My lessons are designed for primary and lower secondary students, helping them build a strong foundation, gain confidence, and develop a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
