About Agrima
Hi! I'm a Political Science major with a History minor at Gargi College, University of Delhi - one of India's most reputed universities - with a deep, lifelong passion for History that started way back in my childhood.
I am currently preparing for my postgraduation in History, which means I'm deep diving into the subject beyond just college coursework - exploring it through the interconnected lenses of Mythology, Religious Studies, and Feminism. I'm especially curious about Mythology and love exploring how ancient stories and belief systems shaped civilizations and continue to influence society today.
As a teacher, my goal is to make History feel less intimidating and more like a fascinating conversation. I focus on building genuine conceptual clarity, and I provide good, well-organized notes to every student, so you always have reliable material to fall back on during revisions or exam prep.
Whether you're a school student preparing for board exams, a college student navigating Humanities or Social Science subjects, or simply an adult learner curious about History and its many dimensions - I'm here to make your learning journey structured, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable.

My Teaching Approach:
I believe History is best learned through stories, not just dates and facts. My teaching technique focuses on connecting historical events to their social, political, and cultural context - making it easier to understand why things happened, not just what happened. I use comparative analysis, real-world parallels, and simplified breakdowns of complex theories to build strong conceptual clarity.
Structure of a typical class:
I usually start with a quick recap of the previous session, followed by introducing the new topic through storytelling or a real-life example. This is followed by a deeper conceptual explanation, discussion-based learning (encouraging students to ask questions and think critically), and ending with a summary along with practice questions or reading suggestions for reinforcement.
What makes my classes special:
Beyond standard History, I bring in perspectives from Mythology, Religious Studies, and Feminism to give students a well-rounded, critical understanding of historical narratives - especially useful for students who want to go beyond textbook learning and understand different lenses of interpretation. I also provide perfectly curated, easy-to-revise notes for every topic covered, so students have reliable study material to refer back to before exams or revisions.
