About Onesisa

I am Onesisa Khalipha, a third year journalism student. I believe in storytelling and stories are told in different languages. Teaching IsiXhosa means expanding the student's ability to learn and communicate in a different language.

They do not only learn the language but also the culture and traditions of the Xhosa people. It is a beautiful language and holds a lot of stories.

About the lesson

I think the ability to connect and establish a tutoring connection should be the most crucial skill a tutor and student develop together.

I get to know each child I work with by using my active listening abilities to keep track of their interests and hobbies.
