About Toni
Firstly, with regard to my experience, I have taught a daycare centre's and tutored foundation phase children.
I am a very caring, fun and loving person. I find spending time with children is a two way avenue. Not only are we as adults able to teach children something but we as adults can learn from children too. It is also so much fun to spend time with children.
I enjoy doing things differently, creatively and enjoy broadening my understanding of anything actually, like learning a new task. I try to better myself in any way possible if the opportunity arises.
I am very earth conscious and strive to live accordingly and expose others to the importance thereof. Something I find very important.
I am super fun, love laughing and a super good listener. I am extremely patient and have lots of love to spare.

Good day potential employers or students
I tutored a grade 1 student who struggled to grasp certain Literacy and Math concepts. He struggled to keep up with all work that they were expected to know and understand, that's where I came in, and how much fun it was!
With my understanding of foundation phase English and Maths (numbers) I was able to notice what he struggled with and which techniques to use to try and help him understand better.
I was able to create my own worksheets with guidance from online worksheets and following the CAPS grade 1 curriculum. I was able to break terms down, making it simpler to understand and more fun for both students and myself as a tutor. This also allowed him to have that confidence in knowing he understands his school work better and brought about new joy for school work.
I also helped with math terms and concepts, and just basic sums by making use of little games, whether it be building sums and having to find the answer or help with counting and number recognition by simply playing Snakes and Ladders.
I am a firm believer in mixing the best of both worlds, by focusing on educational terms and having fun simultaneously.
I am versatile and equipped enough to adjust my teaching techniques to suit the child's way of learning.
