I’m learning piano for the first time after wanting to give it a try for years and Josh has made the process a joy! Couldn’t ask for a kinder or more patient teacher (and he always makes lessons fun!) Highly recommend - five stars

I work with Josh professionally as a song writer and producer. Josh has a wonderfully cool temperament that encourages productivity, enthusiasm and a fun environment. He's caring and highly emotionally intelligent, allowing him to navigate the vibe of a room and consider the best ways to approach learning with each individual. He's an insanely talented musician and piano player and he has a lot to teach any student who's lucky enough to have him as their teacher!

Josh is such a friendly teacher, and I really looked forward to each lesson. I found his explanations of what I should be doing really clear and helpful, and he was very patient with me!

Josh gave me six piano lessons in preparation for a family reunion that I wanted to play a few songs at. Although my piano playing skills were very rusty after 4 years of barely sitting down to tinkle the ivories, Josh was very patient, friendly and knowledgable. Even before the first lesson he had given me lots of crowd pleasing song suggestions that I could use. In the first lesson he listened carefully to the arrangements I had come up with that week, corrected any slightly off chords/bum notes and gave me lots of pointers such as how to make the baseline more interesting or where I could add some simple fills. I really enjoyed his teaching style and creative suggestions. I'm still using some of the techniques/guidelines he gave for arranging pop songs on the piano.
