About Ilinca

My love for Spanish started at school, when I discovered how exciting it could be to learn a language and explore a whole new culture. Since then, I've been lucky enough to spend time in Mexico, Madrid and Argentina, each place giving me a different perspective on the language and the people who speak it.

I spent three months in Argentina teaching English, which gave me the chance to connect with local communities and experience everyday life there. Fun fact: I've also taught in China! These experiences have made me appreciate just how much languages can bring people together and open up new opportunities.

I'd love for my students to feel the same spark I felt when I first started learning Spanish. For me, it's about more than grammar and vocabulary; it's about discovering new cultures, understanding different ways of life and being able to connect with people around the world.

Whether you're preparing for exams, learning Spanish for travel or simply curious about the language, I'd love to help you build confidence, enjoy the process and discover what makes Spanish so special.

¡Me encantaría acompañarte en este viaje!

About the lesson

For me, learning Spanish has always been about more than grammar and vocabulary. It's about discovering a new culture, connecting with people and seeing the world from a different perspective. I want my students to experience that same spark I felt when I first fell in love with the Spanish language at school.

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals, whether you're preparing for GCSE or A-level exams, learning Spanish for the first time or simply looking to improve your conversation skills. We'll work on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading and writing, while also exploring the culture that makes Spanish such a fascinating language.

Having studied Spanish at university and gained teaching experience abroad, I've seen how learning a language can open doors to new experiences and connections. I want to make lessons engaging, encouraging and enjoyable, helping students build confidence while discovering their own passion for Spanish.

Whether you're aiming for top exam results or dreaming of travelling the Spanish-speaking world, I'd love to help you on your journey!
