About Paulina
I am a 1st year Graduate Entry Medical Student at the University of Oxford. I hold a PhD in Life Sciences (Neuroscience) from the University of Warwick and an MSci in Neuroscience from UCL. I am passionate about Science, explaining complex concepts and having productive discussions!

I am calm, friendly and patient, and my teaching style reflects this. I focus on making students feel comfortable while building a strong foundation of knowledge, and encourage them to expand and think critically through questions and discussion. I tailor a lesson to the student and adapt as needed for the student’s needs, by e.g. reviewing school materials, preparing for exams, and exploring advanced topics. I am passionate about Science and I enjoy tutoring and seeing students enjoy the subject and succeed. I tutor Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A-level, as well as GCSE Maths. I can tutor a range of Life Sciences and Neuroscience subjects at degree level. I can help students with essay-writing and exam techniques. I have 3.5 years of experience tutoring students and lab demonstrating from GCSE to university level. I am familiar with GCSE and A-level board exams and obtained 4 As in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths in 2016. I hold an MSci in Neuroscience from UCL (2020) and a PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Warwick (2025). I have supervised undergraduate and master’s students and presented my research at national and international conferences. I co-authored a chapter for a neuroscience textbook. I mentored students while at UCL.
