About Joshua

Hello! I'm a Law student at New College, University of Oxford, with a strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students learn and succeed.

I have always enjoyed English, History and the Humanities. My studies at Oxford have further developed my analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

I believe that confidence is just as important as academic ability. My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges.

Having experienced the demands of competitive academic environments, I understand the value of clear explanations, effective study techniques and personalised support.

I'm based in the Geneva area and offer flexible online and in-person tutoring. I look forward to helping students build confidence, enjoy learning and achieve their academic goals!

About the lesson

As a Law student at the University of Oxford, I offer engaging, personalised tutoring in English, History and Humanities for primary and secondary-school students.

My approach is patient, encouraging and interactive, focusing on building genuine understanding, confidence and independent thinking. I adapt each lesson to the student's individual needs, breaking down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps.

Lessons typically involve reviewing schoolwork, explaining challenging topics, practising exercises together and identifying areas for improvement.

I have a strong academic background, including 42/45 IB and 33 LNAT score (highest in school history). My Oxford studies have further developed my analytical, writing and communication skills.

Whether students need homework support, exam preparation or help building confidence, my aim is to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
