About Erin

Hi, I'm Erin! I'm a post-graduate student at the University of Oxford studying Global and Imperial History, and graduated with my BA in History in 2024. I've always enjoyed learning and want to help you get the best results out of your own academic journey. At A-Level, I received 4 A*s in History, French, Music and English Literature. I graduated from my Oxford BA with a high 2:1, and received two academic prizes for my achievements. As such, I'm highly qualified and competent to help you with your studies. But more than that, I love working with others and want to share my passion. In my role as student Access and Admissions Rep, I gave talks and provided workshops on Oxbridge admissions to aspiring A-Level students. I'm a confident communicator and genuinely passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential. Although I'm currently based in Oxford, my heart lies in Yorkshire where I'm originally from. I love running and taking my dog, Walter, on scenic walks through the gorgeous countryside. I'm also a big Leeds United fan, enjoy listening to music, reading and having a chat. I can't wait to get to know you too!

About the lesson

I'm offering remote sessions via MS Teams or Zoom, aimed at A-Level and GCSE students. I can be flexible with days and times to fit into your schedule. My goal is to help students to succeed in their exams, see academic progress and feel confident in their abilities. To achieve this, lessons will be supportive, relaxed and tailored to your concerns to allow students to make real progress. Additionally, I'm open to advising aspiring Oxbridge students in making competitive applications through providing interview and admissions test prep. As a student Access and Admissions Rep, I have worked closely with students to provide Oxbridge admissions workshops and love hearing their success stories. I can't wait to work together and support you along your academic journey!
