About Thom
I received 11 a*s at GCSE and 2as and an a* at A level. I am currently studying English at Oxford and have tutored family friends' children for several years now. Beyond exams, I have taken courses in general essay writing and creative writing, making me adaptable and flexible to the individual needs of tutees.

I am a firm believer that every student is an individual and, therefore, learns differently. This means I will spend part of the lesson discussing what my tutee feels comfortable and less comfortable with in regards to their workload. As an extension of this, I am eager to encourage students to foster unique, receptive readings of whatever text is placed in front of them, in order to obtain the elusive 'flair' most exams require.
