I am a qualified primary school teacher with 10 years worth of professional experience. I have a 1st class BA Honours degree in Primary Education. I have a particular aptitude for teaching English and Maths in KS2 (years 3-6).

Once I have met a student, I will take the time to get to know them so that I can tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs and interests. I break tasks down into smaller and more manageable steps, carefully modelling and demonstrating the thought- processes, skills and methods required. I effectively implement success criteria so that my students understand how they can achieve the desired learning outcome. Students leave my lessons with the confidence to readily apply what they have learnt.
I offer lessons in English and Maths. I am also able to support children for their SATs preparation.
