About Taylor
I am 24 years old, from Toronto, who just graduated from school in the UK with hopes of being a full time educator. I am very driven and outgoing, but most importantly, I absolutely love kids. I was a camp Counsellor for 4 years, an athletics coach for 5 years (in various sports including soccer, rugby, and ski racing), as well as a student teacher in multiple classrooms. I not only know how to make educational material approachable for young students, but I know exactly how to relate to them (and their potential struggles). I aim to make our sessions enjoyable and productive! That way its not a chore for anyone ;)! I cant wait to meet you!!

I absolutely adore children, which will quickly become obvious to you when you meet me! My vast experience with childcare, alongside working with various ‘types’ of children, has really enhanced my ability to be a successful tutor…and soon-to-be-teacher! I believe that my natural ability to get along with children is by far my biggest asset as a practitioner. There is no ‘universal’ method to teaching a concept, instead students should have multiple methods/approaches which help individualize understanding. I was always that student, growing up, who could grasp material if someone took the time to explain it differently than it was displayed on the smartboard. I want to be that bridge for future students.
