About Damian
Hello and Welcome !
My name is Damian and I hope that I can pass some of my passion for chemistry to you, and help you succeed in your courses. Here is a little bit about my background:
While working on my undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta, I developed an interest and passion for organic chemistry. During this time, I had the opportunity to conduct research in reaction methodology and to teach organic chemistry laboratories.
I decided to continue my studies and pursued a Master of Science at Simon Fraser University, where researched cancer killing compounds, palladium catalysis and radical chemistry. I continued teaching and spent an additional two years instructing and supervising first through third year organic chemistry laboratories and lectures.
My philosophy has always been to focus on fundamentals, and to develop a rational and scientific thinking process. I often found that once students developed these qualities, they were are able to tackle complex problems in the classroom, lab and beyond.
I can provide you with rigorous and personalized instruction that will not only help you succeed in chemistry, but will foster scientific curiosity that will aid you in your academic and professional aspirations.

My first session is free and includes a consult. This is to help understand your goals, expectations, and areas of weakness.
