About Eunike

I am a mum of 3 young adults. I started tutoring 12 years ago when I had to tutor my 9-year-old son who had an accident in year 5 and was out of school for 3 months. I focused on his strengths and gradually coached him on his weak areas that were important for his 11+ exams. I helped him to create a timetable that included all his school homework, lesson work, after-school activities, playdates, and relaxation time. My approach was slow and steady, and he was motivated when he realised he was improving and getting better grades in school. This increased his confidence, and he started looking forward to doing his work and was excited that he could also put up his hand in class as he saw other students do. He also wanted to get his work out of the way so that he could have his play/relaxation time. This is the same approach I use for my students on a 1:1 basis, and they also enjoy the group sessions as they meet other students and are able to learn from each other. I look forward to working with you (new students) and helping you to achieve the success you want and deserve.

About the lesson

Provide specialised 1:1 tutoring sessions and group of 4 tutoring. Students are assessed at the 1st session to identify strengths and weak areas. Parents are given feedback on their child’s level and proposed programme structure. The assessment also enables the tutor to identify the appropriate group in which the student will thrive. My 11+ programme is credited with successful results as most students who complete a 2-year programme get into top grammar or independent schools. Knowing the student over one year enables me to advise parents on the choice of school once we get the offers. It is important to choose a school that your child will enjoy, not endure.
