About Eliana
I realized at the age of 9 that I had a gift for the English language and writing. Throughout high school, I improved my skills and was a straight A student in English and Grammar.
Although I do not hold an English degree, I am certified in Freelance Copy Editing (Udemy), which taught me grammar, clarity, and content polishing. These are skills I will use to help students.
I understand the English language in depth and am always trying to learn more and help others master it as well.

I use a basic and easy to understand approach to anything English, tailored towards students in middle school and high school, as well as students learning ESL. Implementing English and grammar principles, phonetics, and helpful tips and tricks to aid in lessons, I start by identifying what the student needs help with in particular. I am passionate about the English language and I try to help my students feel that same passion.

Details
My first lesson is free and includes introduction, assessment, quick sample edits, and goal setting for future sessions.
My hourly rate includes tutoring in English, grammar, writing, and spelling. I can also help you edit your writing and sharpen your proofreading skills.
I offer a flexible cancellation and rescheduling policy, although I do appreciate consideration on the student's part. Cancellations 24+ hours before arranged lesson results in 100% student refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before arranged lesson results in only 50% student refund.
To clarify, I teach online only, at $15 per hour.
