About Ernest
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah and am a native Spanish speaker from Oaxaca, Mexico. I have tutoring experience with the Long Beach Unified School District.
- My students will learn fluency and build their vocabulary quickly.
- My students will master basic Spanish language skills and become conversational.
- My students will learn how to train their ear to hear Spanish which will allow them to speak it.

You learn by doing, so in language you learn by hearing and speaking. In order to understand and speak you have to build the fundamentals and then practice them I stress basic language fundamentals, conjugation, vocabulary building and a lot of practice in 1) hearing and 2) speaking. I use a white board to quiz and memorize language fundamentals. I also teach students how to listen, transcribe and translate foreign language.
