About Geeta
Hello, and welcome! I’m Geeta, an AI engineer based in Ontario, and I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in math.
I hold an MS in Artificial Intelligence, an MTech in Electronics, and a BTech, so I use math every day in my professional work. That means I can explain not only how to solve a problem but why the method works and where it’s used in the real world.
Alongside my engineering career, I’ve taught coding, electronics, and robotics to students through online platforms and academies.
My lessons are friendly, patient, and fully online, so you can learn comfortably from home anywhere in Ontario. I never rush, and I welcome every question, however basic. Whether you want to catch up, keep up, or aim higher, I’ll help you build real understanding and the confidence that goes with it.

My approach
I believe maths makes sense once you understand why a method works, not just how to follow the steps. I explain each idea in plain language, work through examples together, and then let you try similar problems while I guide you. I use a shared digital whiteboard so you can see every step, and I adjust the pace to suit you. I also use real examples from engineering and AI to show where the maths is used. After each lesson, I’ll suggest practice questions so you can build confidence between sessions.
A typical lesson
1. Quick check-in (5 minutes): review homework, quiz results, or anything you found difficult since last time.
2. New topic or problem practice (35-40 minutes): I explain the idea, we solve examples together, then you solve problems with me guiding you.
3. Wrap-up (5-10 minutes): we summarise what we covered and agree on what to practise before the next lesson.
In your first lesson, we’ll find out where you are, what you find hard, and what you want to achieve, so I can plan lessons around you.
What sets me apart
I’m an AI engineer with an MS in Artificial Intelligence and an MTech in Electronics, so I use maths in my work every day. I have experience teaching coding, electronics, and robotics online, and I’m patient, clear, and comfortable explaining difficult ideas in different ways until they click. I teach live, one-to-one over video, so every lesson is focused on you.
