Romanian architect passionate about 3D creation, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism (Bucharest, Romania), Bachelor+Master Degree in Architecture and currently studying at the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest (Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering). With over 4 years of experience in individual teaching, I offer personalized one-on-one lessons in design and 3D modeling with SketchUp, online and tailored to your pace.
SketchUp is a versatile 3D modeling software, intuitive and equipped with a very user-friendly interface, increasingly used in the fields of architecture, interior design, product design, and 3D printing.
Its basic version, which provides all the functions necessary for an architect or designer who is just starting out with 3D modeling, can be used for free directly on the browser or installed on a computer as the Free/Make edition.
For professionals who require interoperability with other CAD or BIM software, there is also the Pro version, available by subscription. It retains the same interface and main functions as the free version, while adding a few extra tools and parameters.
To take this course, the free version is more than sufficient. The transition to the Pro version (for those who really need it later) will happen naturally, without having to relearn the commands.
Finally, SketchUp is also ideal for enthusiasts of computer-generated imagery (rendering) and 3D printing, as the models created can be perfectly processed in modern image-editing software and printed on a 3D printer.
The courses are held ONLINE (via free platforms such as WhatsApp Desktop, Discord or similar) with the help of a free remote desktop program (RustDesk or equivalent). They are INDIVIDUAL and aimed at:
- pupils, students and learners in the fields of architecture, design or engineering/construction, who wish to build strong skills in a 3D modeling software useful for their projects, school/university assignments or training;
- professionals and companies in architecture, civil engineering, design or production, who want to learn or improve their use of modern and affordable 3D design tools such as SketchUp, increasingly used in the job market;
- children, teenagers and adults who are passionate and curious, wishing to discover 3D modeling or who need to learn a 3D software for digital imaging and 3D printing.
Course details and additional info:
- 2h30 online sessions (via Discord, WhatsApp Desktop or similar);
- fee: €20/hour (100 lei/hour) — first trial session free of charge;
- invoice available (activity registered in Romania, EU);
- frequency of sessions arranged by mutual agreement;
- high flexibility in scheduling and in the content taught;
- one-to-one teaching;
- full and condensed content, explained with patience and pedagogy.
Goal: to get you started or help you improve your 3D modeling skills in SketchUp, whether for leisure, training or professional work.
