About Evana
Being a polyglot, I am a native Chinese speaker and fluent in three other languages. Also an experienced tutor for language and science courses in both classroom and virtual settings. Graduated from Canada, I’ve spent my formative years in Toronto before moving to Southeast Asia where I worked as a teacher, and I’m now a corporate professional.

Every learner has a unique learning style. Over the years, I’ve developed my teaching philosophy to design courses and content that match students’ learning interests and needs. I also like to keep my lessons fun, engaging, and flexible. For example, I can help you in learning your new favorite C-pop song or introduce you to some Chinese culture for speaking practice. Details
The first meeting is free. It should take about 20 minutes so we can get to know each other and another 20 minutes to engage in some fun learning activities. Based on the assessment of your language proficiency and learning style, I will then recommend a personalized lesson plan that best matches your interests and study goals. I also accept small group tutoring, feel free to reach out if you’re interested.
