About Peter
Currently studying at the University of Sydney, I teach Spanish at all levels, whether for children or adults. Throughout my personal journey, I have had the opportunity to live in Spain and Colombia, which allowed me to deeply explore Hispanic cultures. My passion for Latin America and Central America was sparked when I started reading the works of Gabriel García Márquez, and it is essential for me to share this passion with my students. In Colombia, I also had the chance to work at the British School in Bogotá, an experience that significantly enriched my teaching skills.

This approach allows students to progress quickly and confidently. Lessons are conducted entirely in the target language, with vocabulary introduced gradually—first through short, simple phrases and then moving on to more complex structures. It is essential for me to incorporate cultural aspects and current events from the Spanish-speaking world into my lessons. I also prepare my students for the DELE exams.
