About Kody
I have been a Spanish student since middle school. My love for the language and culture led me to continuously study Spanish on my own, culminating in a Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho. I also had the wonderful opportunity to abroad in Costa Rica, where I was able to solidify my fluency and gain several insights into the culture of Hispanic America.

I love to help learners of all levels (beginning, intermediate, advanced) with difficult topics. I bring a deep understanding of Spanish grammar and familiarity with common pitfalls faced by English-speakers (pronunciation/phonetics, false friends, subjunctive, sentence structuring, fixed expressions, etc). However, my goal is not to overwhelm students. I take a very individual approach by listening to your goals and encouraging questions, then I'll explain material in an easy-to-understand manner! When learning a new language, the key is applied practice in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, so I like to give my students several examples and "quiz" you to apply what we learn.
