About Lene
Hello! My name is Lene and I’m currently first year nursing student!
I took Triple Sciences in my GCSEs and Physics, Chemistry and Biology for my A-levels which I really enjoyed, as well as an EPQ project!
I’m passionate about sciences, particularly Biology where I did a few projects outside of lesson based around Biology back in High School and College, for the Big Bang Project, CREST Award and Industrial Cadets! I love Biology and teaching others sciences.
I’d love to help out A-level students who are finding Biology, Physics or Chemistry a bit difficult, as they really are tough subjects!
I’m from the Philippines, so please let me know if you’d like lessons in Tagalog or partially in Tagalog :)

I teach my students by asking them their weak and strong points, I interview them and chat to them as if they were a friend who needs help. Before teaching the content, I’d ask them to do a few questions and exercises (exam questions, recall, etc.) to jog their memory and to get a clearer picture of what they need help on. I want to ensure that their tutoring session is theirs.
I would then help them with the content and delve into how they can structure their exam questions, express mistakes I’ve made in the past and how to avoid them and after I would provide them a personal OneDrive/Google Drive of resources made for them.
If they wanted to, they could email me for more help if they were to be very stuck on a topic, question, etc.
Lessons will take place over webcam on Google Meet.
