About Justin

As an Honours graduate in Mechanical Engineering from NTU Singapore, I don’t just teach subjects; I teach the engineering mindset of problem-solving. Having navigated the rigorous Singaporean and Malaysian academic systems, I realized that excelling isn't just about hard work—it’s about having a system.

I was once the student searching for "why" we study these formulas. Today, I bridge that gap for my students. I help them see how Calculus builds skyscrapers and how Physics drives vehicles on the road. My goal is to transform "struggling students" into "strategic thinkers" who are motivated by both their grades and the real-world impact of their knowledge.

My Academic History:
SPM: 5A+, 4A
A-level: 2A* (Physics, Chemistry), 2A (Biology, Maths)
Bachelor's: Mechanical Engineering with Honours (NTU Singapore)

About the lesson

(First 1-hour trial lesson is free!)

Location Flexibility:
1. Your Place: Home tutoring within Johor Bahru.
2. My Place: A conducive, focused environment in JB.
3. Online: High-quality digital lessons via Whatsapp/Zoom/Google Meet.

My 3-Pillar System to Score:

1. Systemic Scoring Framework
We don't just "study"; we strategize. I teach students the "Examiner’s Perspective"—how to spot keywords in marking schemes that guarantee marks. We will maintain a Tactical Error Log to track and eliminate recurring mistakes, ensuring continuous improvement.

2. Engineering-Grade Concept Mastery
Using my NTU Mechanical Engineering background, I bridge the gap between abstract formulas and reality. I explain the "Why" behind the "How." Students learn faster when they see how these concepts build the world around them.

3. Holistic Excellence & Real-World Relation
I push my students to excel beyond just the grade. We aim to stay 1-2 topics ahead of the school syllabus to build confidence. My goal is to produce thinkers who can relate their knowledge to the real world, preparing them for university and beyond.

Who is this for? IGCSE students who are struggling with memorizing and want a clear, logical path to an A+ or A*, while gaining knowledge that actually matters outside the classroom.
