About Amy
I am an undergraduate at Newcastle University studying Spanish and Portuguese, with an A in A-level Spanish including full marks on my written exam, an A* in Spanish GCSE, an A* in French GCSE, and a 7 in English Language GCSE. I have experience working as a classroom assistant in a Kumon tutoring center, work experience abroad in a Spanish daycare centre speaking the native language, and voluntary experience such as as helping key stage 3 and GCSE students both in their lessons and after-school in addition to teaching Spanish to all ages for a day in a primary school while studying A Levels.

I do grammar based lessons where I explain the language structure to give students the confidence to talk about themes with ease. I can then look at topics that may appear on exams and discuss the necessary vocabulary to articulate students' ideas about the topics, as well as encouraging them to provide a balanced argument. I have knowledge to understand and evaluate the characters and themes in El Laberinto Del Fauno, a popular film studied at A-level, and Las Bicicletas Son Para El Verano, the book I studied at A Level, for both of which I achieved full marks in my A Level examination.
