About Christina
I have a B.S. in mathematics education from SUNY Cortland and a M.S. in curriculum & instruction. My education includes Calculus 1 - 4, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Algebraic Structures, Probability & Statistics, Intermediate Analysis, and Differential Equations. I am currently in my 27th year teaching math at Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls, NY. I have taught all grade levels and all courses ranging from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus. I am an approved Cayuga Advantage instructor, teaching Math 104, 106, and 108 (College Algebra & Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, respectively) for Cayuga Community College in Auburn, NY. I have over 10 years experience teaching math in the summer as both a credit recovery teacher and an online instructor using Edgenuity as the primary online learning resource. I am a member of the New York State Master Teacher Program in the Finger lakes region, actively attending professional development at SUNY Geneseo. I serve as yearbook business advisor and senior class advisor in my district. I also host pre-service teachers and student from area colleges.

I am available to teach individualized lessons to students in grades 6 - 12, including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 & Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I use guided instruction to work through problems with students so that they gain the skills necessary to become successful. I also give independent practice for students to gain confidence in their problem solving. I share review materials and give students practice tests to sharpen their math skills. I offer test preparation for unit/chapter test, regents exams, AP exams, and college placement exams.
