About Maria
I received A*s in all my GCSEs and A-Levels. I have been tutoring for 4 years so I am very familiar with all the content.
I tutor any age from year 7-13. I do all sciences and maths until A-levels where I just specialise in the medicine combo of Maths, Chemistry and Biology.

I base my lessons around the most efficient learning technique (proven by research) - active recall. Additionally, with long-term students, I incorporate a memory theory proposed by the psychologist Ebbinghaus´- the forgetting curve model - to ensure the top grades in exams. These methods have facilitated drastic improvements in my student's grades, and, through my passion for knowledge and understanding, I encourage my students to learn out of enjoyment+/curiosity, as opposed to obligation.
