About James
I have years of experience tutoring students, both within my school system and independently. I got a 1550 on my SAT and a 35 on my ACT, and got into NYU in a year that had a record low acceptance rate (~12%). I know what college admissions are looking for, and I know the stress and confusion of college applications. I know how to bring the best version of students out, and show it to the institutions they're applying to.
More importantly than those numbers, I'm an older brother to four younger siblings. I have lots of experiences with kids (in my family and not), and have tutored, babysat, and nannied. My career goal is pediatric neurology, so I'd love to continue working with kids and teens.

College admissions are stressful, and a lot of times you don't know what you don't know. After getting to know a student, I let them call the shots. They know their own stories, and I'm there to help them show themselves off!
