About Astha

I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Neuroscience and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research. My academic background, combined with my professional experience as an Assistant Professor teaching paramedical university students, gives me a unique edge in explaining complex biological sciences. I specialize in tutoring US High School (Grades 9-12), AP Biology, Cell Biology, and introductory Neurobiology.

My Teaching Method:
Tailored to US Curriculum: Full alignment with AP Biology and standard US High School/College boards.Interactive Visual Learning: Active use of a digital pen-tablet to draw clear cellular diagrams and map nervous system pathways in real time.Exam & Assignment Prep: Targeted practice with high-yield conceptual questions, active recall techniques, and homework support.

About the lesson

My lessons are highly engaging, interactive, and structured around the student's unique learning pace and academic goals. Whether you are preparing for AP Biology exams, tackling complex Cell Biology assignments, or diving into introductory Neuroscience, I customize every session to ensure deep conceptual mastery rather than rote memorization.

What to expect from my classes:
1. Active Learning: I use a digital pen-tablet to visually map out metabolic pathways, cellular structures, and neural circuits in real-time, making abstract concepts easy to visualize.
2. Clinical & Real-World Connections: Drawing from my background in Clinical Research and experience as a former Assistant Professor, I connect textbook biology to medical and real-world examples to keep the material fascinating.
3. Exam-Targeted Strategy: We will practice with past exam papers, active recall quizzes, and custom-tailored homework support to build absolute confidence for your school or college boards.
