About Elissa

Hi! I’m a Turkish girl with a real passion for languages and helping others learn. I’ll be honest — I first thought about tutoring for the extra money, but I quickly realised how much I genuinely enjoy teaching and watching students grow in confidence. I achieved a Grade 9 (A*) in GCSE Turkish in Year 10, and now I want to help children, teens and GCSE students reach the same level. As a tutor, I’m patient, friendly and fun. I like to create more of a relaxed, supportive friendship with my students — while still keeping everything professional and focused. I know that students learn best when they feel comfortable, so I always make sure my lessons are engaging, encouraging and never stressful. Outside of tutoring, I’m a passionate musician: I play the violin and piano, I sing at a professional level, and I’m currently learning the guitar. Music has taught me discipline, creativity, and how to connect with people — all skills I bring into my teaching. My goal is to make learning Turkish feel enjoyable and achievable. Whether you’re building the basics, preparing for your GCSE, or just wanting to speak more confidently, I would love to support you on your journey.

I’m passionate about helping students discover how enjoyable and accessible Turkish can be when it’s taught the right way. My tutoring style is modern, interactive, and tailored to you. Whether you’re a complete beginner or aiming to boost your grades, I’ll guide you with clear explanations, fun activities, and real-life conversations that build confidence fast.
