My profession is teaching languages. I prefer following a communicative approach in my classes. When it comes to my characteristics as a teacher, at my institutions, I am usually described as energetic, dedicated, hardworking, self-confident, cooperative and trustworthy by my colleagues and administrators considering the duties I have done as a teacher, as a coordinator and as a social club organizer so far. It is an undeniable fact that conducting meetings with teachers mostly older and more experienced than me has profoundly developed my communication, presentation and organization skills. With respect to my role in the classroom, my students tell me that I am a supportive,
inspiring, broad-minded, creative, enthusiastic and an innovative teacher. I believe that my students appreciate my willingness to use new techniques and technologies, my endless efforts to make them feel secure and satisfied along with my friendly attitude towards them.
When my characteristics are considered together with my language teaching skills, my students are provided with a student-centered environment which is full of fun, collaboration,
active learning, and mutual respect.
