About Lucia

Ciao! I'm Lucia, a native Italian speaker based in London.

Living abroad, I've discovered that the Italian language is my home country - it's what keeps me connected to who I am, no matter where I am in the world. That deep connection to language is exactly what I want to help you build.

With a Master's in Linguistics and experience teaching at the university level, I understand both the structure of language learning and the practical communication skills you need.

What you can expect:
- Structured lessons with practical conversation practice
- University-level Italian for coursework and exams
- Business Italian for meetings, emails, and professional contexts
- Flexible scheduling for students and busy professionals
- GCSE/A-Level exam preparation
- Cultural insights that enhance your understanding of Italian culture beyond the stereotypes

I work with:
- University students studying Italian language or literature
- Professionals expanding into Italian markets
- Complete beginners building solid foundations
- Students preparing for school exams
- Anyone connecting with Italian culture or heritage

Whether you're writing essays on Dante, closing deals in Milan, or planning your Italian adventure, I'll give you the confidence to excel.

Ready to elevate your Italian? Message me about your academic, professional, or personal goals!

About the lesson

Format: Online or in-person classes, fully personalised to your pace and objectives.

Materials: Widely recognised textbooks (e.g., Nuovo Espresso), plus practical, hands-on activities to reinforce learning outside class.

Content: Conversation, grammar, business Italian, and Italian literature/culture.

Structure: Homework and assessments included, but designed to be engaging and fun.

Duration and Flexibility: 45–90 minute sessions, weekly or intensive courses — adaptable to your schedule.

Trial Lesson: The first lesson is free, a relaxed way to get to know each other and discuss your goals.

Each lesson is designed to be dynamic and flexible, with room to slow down, revise, or challenge yourself as needed. By the end of each session, you’ll have both practical skills and a deeper appreciation of the Italian language and culture.

To get started, send me your name, age range, employment, and current level of Italian, and we’ll shape your personalised learning journey together!
