About Julieta
I learned English as my second language during high school and I am now on my French and ASL language learning journeys. Throughout my experience I have learned about the importance of understanding how native speakers view the world through their language and translating that to my own experience. As an educator I help my students create a personal connection and understanding of the culture as they apply the language. I look to provide a space where the learner can apply the language to express their unique understanding of the world.

My focus is to get you engaged in the language learning. The lessons aim to immerse you in the language and get you out of your comfort zone! Try, try and try! Making mistakes is the best part of learning! The lessons will involve relevant content media and authentic Spanish interactions to get you familiar with commonly used Spanish. I have a background in Early Childhood Education (K-6). However, my lessons are flexible for all ages!
