About Serena
CIAO !
I am Serena, an Italian native speaker currently living in Bangalore, India. I'm offering Italian classes to students of every level, from beginners to advanced, to individuals or groups. Passionate about languages, I am fluent in English, French and Spanish, and able to communicate also in Hindi and Tamil.

I am an articulate and flexible teacher with international experience, able to create an inspirational learning environment.
Understanding students' need is a priority. Accordingly, I will tailor the class by focusing on the required aspects of the language (grammatical / spoken / written) .
I alternate different teaching methods to keep the lesson interesting and alive. I normally finish the lesson simulating real life example/business conversation to boost communication skills and build the student’s confidence in speaking the language.
I also like to introduce students to the way Italian is spoken (accent, intonation and rhythm, non verbal aspects), which is key to get in the flow!
If students are interested, I share knowledge of Italian culture through analysis of language usage in social medias / songs / articles.
