About Isabel
I am a native spaniard doing assistant teaching in Edmonton Public Schools. I have over 5 years of experience in teaching foreign languages, specially to children (I have, however, also worked with adults). I specialised in Philology and English Literature at University of Barcelona.

These lessons are meant for anybody (no matter their age) who wants to learn Spanish, or improve their skills in the language. As a teacher, my aim is to adapt the content of a lesson in order to cater to the student's needs, so it is difficult to tell how a ''regular'' class would go. If you are interested in improving your oral skills, we would be focusing on that through conversation and oral activities; if, conversely, you aim to learn the language from scratch, we would go over the basics first. In any case, my approach is always to present, analyse and, then, doing what's essential in order to learn any language: practice and put the material in context.
