About Diego

I am a native Spanish speaker with a strong academic and professional background, offering advanced-level Spanish practice (B1–C2) for fluent speakers who want to use the language with confidence and precision in real-world situations. My focus is on working with motivated adults and university students who already speak Spanish and want to take their fluency to a higher level through structured, meaningful practice. Rather than following generic textbooks, I prioritise authentic conversation, topic-based discussions, and continuous feedback. This allows students to improve not only their fluency, but also their accuracy, vocabulary range, and ability to express complex ideas naturally in Spanish.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for advanced Spanish speakers (B1–C2) who already know the language and want to practise, refine, and gain confidence using Spanish with a native speaker in real, meaningful contexts. The main objective is not to teach Spanish from scratch, but to actively use it, improve accuracy, and develop fluency through guided conversation and topic-based sessions. My approach is practice-led and personalised. Each session is built around topics that are relevant to the student’s personal, academic, or professional goals, such as current affairs, culture, business, engineering, travel, or everyday real-world situations. During the lesson, I focus on natural conversation, while providing real-time corrections, advanced vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and suggestions to sound more natural and precise. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and follow a flexible structure: - Warm-up conversation to activate fluency - In-depth discussion on a chosen topic - Suggestions for improvement and future focus areas I am a native Spanish speaker with strong academic and professional experience, and I work with students who value structured practice, constructive feedback, and purposeful conversations rather than basic language instruction.
