About Marcela

I am from Colombia , I have a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
I Started teaching English in Colombia for children when I was at university. When I finished my Degree , I moved to England and joined the Marriot company where I met people from different nationalities who were interested to learn Spanish also I started tutoring children for their GCSE and A levels exams on my free time . Then I moved to Bournemouth and joined the Bournemouth college to do a Community Interpreting Course Level 3. Recently I finished my MBA at Bournemouth university achieving top grades.
The subjects that I have tutor are :
Spanish (General, KS3, GCSE AQA, GCSE Edexcel, GCSE OCR, IGCSE, A Level AQA, A Level Edexcel, A Level OCR, Pre-U, IB Standard Level, IB Higher Level, Advanced Placement and Undergraduate) .

About the lesson

Due to COVID my lessons are based online . I am very flexible ,we can use Skype, WhatsApp etc.
I have taught and prepared students for their GCSE 's and A level Exams.
I am very confident that I can help you to achieve any language learning goals you may have.

My teaching methods consist on meeting the needs of my students using a personalised system ,where on the first lesson I do a free initial assessment to see what level they are at. We mostly talk about the students needs and the areas they need to improve so that I can best prepare and plan future lessons.in order to help them achieve the mark they need to accomplish.

Thereafter ,I tailor every lesson according to the student curriculum . The classes are really fun and I make use of different tools such as videos, songs, cards and a lot of repetition.

The subjects that I have tutor are :
Spanish (General, KS3, GCSE AQA, GCSE Edexcel, GCSE OCR, IGCSE, A Level AQA, A Level Edexcel, A Level OCR, Pre-U, IB Standard Level, IB Higher Level, Advanced Placement and Undergraduate) .
Also I go through past papers with them and make sure they feel confident and understand each section.

Usually I use Google Drive for all Lesson Agendas, Lesson Reports, Homework (to be uploaded and I can mark ) and any other resources that might be needed.
Furthermore, I can offer general spanish lessons on your needs and interests ( eg: grammar, conversation sessions to a basic, intermediate or advanced level).

Finally,I have tutored many students of different backgrounds, academic abilities, and aspirations. I love teaching Spanish and I hope all my students will feel a sense of achievement and ambition in all of our lessons.
