About Andrea

Hello! My name is Andrea, and I am from Mexico, passionate about languages, teaching, and exploring the world. Over the years, I have had the incredible opportunity to travel while teaching aboard cruise ships, immersing myself in new cultures and discovering the beauty of communicating with people in their native language. This experience has deepened my love for languages and strengthened my belief in their power to connect people across cultures.

I love helping students grow, and my goal is to inspire you to embrace language learning, just as I have. I truly believe that learning a language opens doors to new perspectives and experiences, and I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.

About the lesson

In my Spanish lessons, I use an interactive, student-centered approach tailored to each individual's learning style and goals. My methodology focuses on building fluency through conversation practice, role-playing, and real-world applications, alongside grammar and vocabulary development. I believe that enjoying the learning process and having fun is essential, so I strive to create a positive and engaging environment. Lessons typically last 60 to 90 minutes, providing ample time for structured learning and practical exercises.

With over nine years of experience as a language tutor and a degree in Modern Languages (French & Italian) and European Studies, I have successfully taught students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My lessons are ideal for anyone looking to improve their Spanish skills, whether for academic purposes, travel, or personal enrichment.

Andrea has been my kids French teacher for the last 3 years. They had zero French skills when they started and the moment they started secondary school (less than a year after starting their French lessons) they were placed in the highest French level at their school. My oldest son did his French GCSE a year earlier and scored the highest mark and it's all been thanks to Andrea's brilliant and fresh teaching style! Her classes are fun, interactive and she's super patient and help the students to feel confident about their language skills. I thoroughly recommend her as a language tutor!
