About Ana
I am a certified Spanish teacher with teaching and childcare experience. I obtained my certificate in 2019 from International House Madrid, where I also imparted 60 hours worth of lessons to non-speakers of Spanish. After that, I worked as a language teacher for an after school club, where I taught groups of up to seven children, as well as a private tutor for kids aged between 6 and 11 years old.

I believe the best way learning can be effective is by captivating the student interest, and that’s why I always personalize my lessons in order to make them more attractive and entertaining, which will also help them you find their strategies. During the first lesson, I like to learn about the student (their level, why they are learning Spanish, which goals they want to achieve) so I can tailored the next lessons to their needs, Especially with children, it is important to follow the an existing book, but knowing how to navigate it and use it as a tool is key for their learning.
