About Vashti
As a care leaver I understand what it takes to succeed under adverse conditions. This past year has been far from easy for any of us, and my life experience means I'm in the perfect position to help your child catch up.
I know that education is personal, and that what works for one student might not for others, so my focus will always be on the individual student, what their goals are, and what they need to succeed.

Hi, my name's Vashti, and in June last year I became the first ever care leaver to graduate from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.
I offer tutoring in all humanities subjects up to GCSE, and in the subjects I myself took at A-level: Spanish, Government and Politics, Religious Studies and English. Although I specialize in Spanish, which is my joint native language.
I first started tutoring when I was a teenager, teaching English as a foreign language in Spain. Upon returning to the UK I switched to teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Later, I began tutoring students for their GCSEs and A-levels.
I take a goal-oriented approach to my tutoring. While I firmly believe that education is a great thing in and of itself, I appreciate most people seeking private tutors do so because they want to improve their child's GCSEs or A-level results.
