I have a strong track record of helping students succeed. One of my proudest moments as a tutor was working with a college student who was at risk of not graduating. Through consistent tutoring and support, he graduated successfully, and his family credited me for playing a key role in his achievement. Teaching Method and Techniques? I believe great teaching starts with understanding the student’s needs and building a strong foundation. My goal is to make learning exciting, as excitement sparks creativity and problem-solving skills. I focus on breaking down concepts, explaining them clearly, and guiding students in creating their own notes for reinforcement through repetition. A Typical Lesson Plan? Each lesson begins with a review of specific areas needing improvement, followed by a focus on the fundamentals. For essay writing, I help students brainstorm, clarify their message, and develop strong supporting points. We then review and refine their work together. What Sets Me Apart? What sets me apart is my experience teaching learners of all ages and subjects. Growing up in a family of teachers, I’ve seen many effective methods and techniques. I love to learn, and that passion drives my teaching. I began tutoring as a student, which helped both my students and me grow academically. Who the Lessons Are For? My Spanish lessons are ideal for beginners to intermediate learners wanting to improve their conversation skills. My writing and English lessons are best suited for high school students looking to improve their essay writing and advanced writing abilities.
