About Ana del Carmen
Along with speaking only Spanish at home and with family members I also learned it formally in my bilingual elementary and middle school. Therefore, I know how Spanish works in relaxed settings but also in academic settings. I’ve helped many friends gain confidence in Spanish and learn to use it as a native speaker would.

In my lessons there is full submersion in the Spanish language and trial and error is encouraged so that speaking isn’t monotone but unique to every speaker. I teach slang and the way Spanish is spoken in the outside world not in the way that textbooks put it. Additionally I teach history of Spanish and how it has evolved in a way that Spanish is unique to each region that speaks it.
