About Karina
I speak Spanish on a daily basis with my family. My parents are from Michoacán, Mexico and currently live there. While my father lived in this country he learned to speak a bit of English, but his primary language is still Spanish. My mother only speaks Spanish till this day. I visit Mexico on a yearly basis, not just for my family, but to stay in touch with my culture and introduce it to my children. I find Mexico to be a fascinating place with incredible people and a unique sense of freedom. Using this language on a daily basis brings me joy and fulfillment.

I use it daily with my own kids to ensure they too become fluent Spanish speakers that will enable them to have even more opportunities in the future. I enjoy going into depth on why diction can be so important as it’s part of the culture.
