About Sofia
Hola :) I’m Sofia, a Venezuelan native and a second-year university student at Monash University, and I’m super passionate about sharing the Hispanic language and culture. I was born in Venezuela but grew up here in Melbourne, and have been speaking Spanish all my life. I completed VCE Spanish with a study score of 42 and I’ve got experience tutoring and coaching kids of all ages, from primary school students to teenagers aged 12-16. I keep my lessons relaxed and fun, making sure you feel comfortable and confident while learning.

Lessons typically run for one hour, but I can adjust based on what works best for the student. I teach students of all ages and levels—from beginners to VCE students and beyond—helping them build confidence and fluency in Spanish. Whether it's basic pronunciation and vocab or writing essays, I’m here to help!
