About Izolda

Hello,
My name is Izzy. I graduated from DePaul University in 2018 with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (focus on birth -- 3rd grade).
I also hold endorsements in:
• Spanish bilingual education (Spanish) for K-12
•English as a Second Language (ESL) for K-12
•Special education birth - age 4

I have 2 years teaching experience in 3rd grade, 2 in ESL, and some experience in preschool and kindergarten.

I love working with my students and helping them to grow emotionally and academically! Seeing their growth and confidence in themselves is a great reward for both of us!

I enjoy being in the classroom with my students and have developed a love for creating fun and engaging lessons online to aid in their learning these past 3 years. I look forward to continuing to help children develop a love for learning and furthering their education.

I am able to use multiple digital resources to create a fun learning environment meant for my students. I provide time for my students to see me model the skill, for us to practice together with guided help, and to challenge themselves to propel their learning forward.

Although we will be meeting virtually I am looking to also provide hands on activities to help solidify concepts and will work with the family to discuss their expectations of lessons and work with materials they typically have on hand.
