María del Carmen is an excellent teacher. I participated in her MindfulEating workshops and I really liked the way she combines theory with practical experience.
Her teaching style is integrative and empathetic. She promotes reflection and analysis of the topics. I found it very interesting that she encourages the participation of all students, so the class is interactive and has diverse visions and perspectives.
Something I admire is her concern for the students, not only academically, but as integral human beings. As this program was developed during the pandemic, she included in the workshops, some mindfulness meditation sessions, which allowed us to advance in MindfulEating topics and, at the same time, to manage our emotions and be aware of how we were processing this situation. In these spaces, I discovered her great human quality, as well as professional. She is a very kind, empathic person with great listening skills.
I could see that she prepares each class with great effort and dedication and her teaching methods are very innovative and creative.
I recommend María del Carmen as a teacher, because she is someone who really loves teaching and she does it wonderfully.

I’ve have known Maria professionally for more that 10 years, time in which she has been a university professor, independent teacher, as well as a community instructor, always able to share her knowledge and experience in an effective way. Maria is highly regarded by her students and coworkers for the respect and openness to everyone’s ideas and the down to earth examples she uses to convey new concepts. I have been able to see how people that were not receptive at the beginning of a session, totally changed their mind by the end of it. That is why I absolutely recommend Maria to any member that wants a honest, effective and knowledgeable instructor.
