About Isa

I have recently graduated from History of Art at the University of Manchester and I am looking to teach Spanish more regularly. I love meeting and talking to new people and I believe that the best way to learn is practising, especially with someone who can guide and help you. I lived in France for a year where I learnt French just from conversations, therefore I think that is the best way to learn a new language and I would love to help other people that way. Learning a new language and a new culture is so enriching, and I would love to help anyone who wants to learn Spanish and more about Mexico and our beautiful culture!

About the lesson

Length of lessons is approximately 45 mins, but can be shorter or longer depending on needs. I focus on conversations, to help with day-to-day speaking, confidence, and ease. I also have experience teaching beginners with vocabulary, reading, listening and writing. I personalise lessons depending on every person's requirements and level, and I can also tutor for GCSE Spanish. Lessons are for all ages and levels. If interested, I also love teaching about Mexican culture in Spanish, mainly art and music, from my degree in History of Art and experience working as a museum guide in Mexico!

Isa was recommended to me by a friend and she is a wonderful teacher. She is very friendly and attentive, and her classes were very well thought out to what I wanted, which was help with conversations. She made them very fun and dynamic, and I also got to learn a lot about Mexican culture!
