About Rocio

Hola, I’m Rocío, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico. I’ve lived in the U.S. for 21 years and now live in Texas. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English and hold a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Mexico’s Instituto Politécnico Nacional. My background in customer service and running a small business taught me to listen carefully and explain things clearly. I enjoy helping adults feel comfortable speaking Spanish for everyday situations, travel to Mexico, talking with Spanish speakers at work, school, or with friends. You’ll have time to speak, ask questions, and make mistakes in a friendly, supportive space.

About the lesson

Practice Spanish for your next trip to Mexico in a relaxed, friendly environment! My online lessons are designed for adults who know some basic Spanish and want to feel more comfortable speaking. We’ll start with a short conversation, then practice real situations like ordering food, asking for directions, shopping, or checking into a hotel. We’ll finish by reviewing useful phrases and gentle corrections. As a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, I share everyday expressions and cultural tips. I can explain things in English when needed, and I adapt our practice to your interests and pace. You’ll have plenty of time to speak, ask questions, and learn without feeling embarrassed about mistakes.
