About Ismael

I am also a current University of Cincinnati student studying biology and Spanish is my first language. I am currently a Spanish interpreter for Cincinnati Public Schools. I have tutored several people in the subject areas of Spanish and science with a high degree of success.

About the lesson

I like to teach others by first finding out where they are with the subject, how they learn best, and what they struggle the most with. After learning that, I find that teaching them based on their specific needs or assignments are tends to work with the highest success.

Ismael is an awesome tutor because he is very patient, his Spanish is excellent, and he is understanding of how challenging learning another language is. He tutored me in Spanish when I was taking Spanish 1-3 at the University of Southern California and working with him lead to a significant improvement in my performance. When learning Spanish, there are times when it can get overwhelming how fast native speakers speak and how much you don’t know yet but Ismael has no problem with slowing down the way that he teaches so that you can truly learn it.
