About Claudia
As a native Spanish speaker born in Mexico and raised in the United States, I still think in Spanish to this day. The most difficult thing I find is that not everything in Spanish translates into English. I also find that English is a highly nuanced language that challenges people born and raised here. I might argue that Spanish is easier to learn than English. But once you know English, learning Spanish has its challenges as well. The sentence structures are different. The tempos are different. And sometimes, Spanish words that seem similar to English words have entirely different meanings. I enjoy exploring both languages and helping people confidently reach the level of success they want.

Learning a new language can be intimidating, and that can make the learning process even harder. I try to make it fun and easy so that you learn in terms that you understand. You will set our pace.
Whether you are trying to get better at having conversations in Spanish, wanting to improve your Spanish grammar, or improving your ability to read Spanish, my goal is that you are in a comfortable learning environment where mistakes are part of the process, not a cause for punishment.
Most importantly, I want you to look forward to working on your Spanish. My first session is free and it will help both of us determine if we're a good match to progress your Spanish language skills.
