About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria, and I am a bilingual student passionate about helping others learn Spanish and English.

I am a native Spanish speaker and have earned the Florida Seal of Biliteracy. I also passed the Cambridge AICE Spanish Language examination with an A grade. For English, I earned an A in Cambridge AICE General Paper and achieved a Level 5 on the FAST ELA assessment, the highest score possible.

Currently, I maintain a 4.5 weighted GPA and a 3.8 unweighted GPA while pursuing the Cambridge AICE Diploma Program. Having learned advanced English in a relatively short period of time, I understand the challenges language learners face and can explain concepts in a clear and practical way.

My goal is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students build confidence and make real progress in their language skills.

Para Inglés:
• Obtuve una A en el examen Cambridge AICE General Paper, una materia avanzada de inglés académico reconocida internacionalmente por la Universidad de Cambridge.
• Alcancé un nivel 5 en el examen FAST ELA, la puntuación más alta posible.
• Aprendí inglés avanzado en solo seis meses, por lo que conozco de primera mano las dificultades que enfrentan los estudiantes y las estrategias más efectivas para superarlas.
• Puedo ayudarte a mejorar conversación, pronunciación, gramática, vocabulario, comprensión de lectura y escritura.
